The EasyFit™ Wireless Smoke Alarm Remote Control is an optional accessory designed to work with EasyFit™ wireless interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms.
It makes everyday testing and nuisance-alarm silencing easier by allowing you to control your interconnected EasyFit™ alarms from one convenient location.

When EasyFit™ smoke alarms are interconnected, one alarm sounding can trigger the rest of the group. The EasyFit™ Remote Control helps make testing and silencing your system simpler and more convenient.
This is especially useful when alarms are triggered by cooking smoke or steam, or when performing routine testing across multiple alarms.

How hush mode works
Pressing the hush button once silences the interconnected alarms, except the alarm currently detecting smoke. This helps you identify the source alarm.
Pressing the button again will silence all alarms in the group. Hush mode lasts for approximately 10 minutes before the alarms automatically return to normal operation.

At EasyFit™, we aim to get your order to you quickly, safely and with clear delivery updates. Orders are shipped from within Australia and packed carefully to help ensure your smoke alarms arrive in excellent condition.

Warranty & Returns
We want you to feel confident when purchasing from EasyFit™. Our smoke alarms are manufactured under strict quality systems and checked before dispatch, and we aim to resolve any genuine product issues quickly and fairly.
2-Year Limited Warranty
EasyFit™ provides a non-transferable 2-year limited warranty to the original purchaser covering manufacturing defects under normal residential use.
- ✅ Covers eligible product defects under normal residential use
- ✅ Applies to the original purchaser only
- ✅ EasyFit™ may repair, replace or refund eligible products at our discretion
- ✅ Replacement products do not extend the original warranty period
What the warranty does not cover
To the extent permitted by law, this limited warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect installation or use that does not follow the supplied instructions
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, modification or unauthorised repair
- Damage caused by pests, moisture, paint, physical impact or improper storage
- Products that have been opened, tampered with, marked, modified or damaged
- End-of-life alerts, expired products or normal battery depletion at the end of product life
How to make a warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us with:
- ✅ Your EasyFit™ order number or original sales receipt
- ✅ A description of the issue
- ✅ Photos, video or other details if requested for assessment
We may ask you to return the product for assessment before a repair, replacement or refund is approved.
Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns
If you change your mind or are not satisfied with your order, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a change-of-mind return:
- ✅ Products must be unused, uninstalled and in original undamaged packaging
- ✅ All accessories, screws, manuals and mounting plates must be included
- ✅ Products must not be installed, activated, paired, marked, damaged or modified
Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a trackable delivery service, as customers are responsible for returned goods until they are received by EasyFit™.
Please include your name and order number clearly with the returned parcel.
Restocking & handling fee
A $35 restocking and handling fee applies to approved change-of-mind returns.
This fee covers inspection, processing and repackaging. The fee does not apply to returns relating to manufacturing defects or warranty-approved issues.
Refund process
Once your return is received and inspected, EasyFit™ will process and initiate any approved refund for the product purchase price, minus the $35 restocking and handling fee where applicable, within 2 business days.
If an item or its packaging is returned used, damaged or missing components, EasyFit™ may refuse the change-of-mind return or apply a partial refund at our discretion.
Incorrect, faulty or damaged items
If you receive an incorrect item, or your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can help resolve the issue promptly.
Photographs, video or additional details may be requested to help us assess the issue.
